Hi,

Got a Renoir a few days ago with orange in the UK. Loving it so far but got an issue, there widget for viewing photos doesn't seem to work.

I've taken a few test pics, when i put the widget on the desktop it shows no pictures in it, and if i open it up i can click three things: 1) the main photo area, which just brings up the media album. 2) the play button, which seems to do nothing at the moment. 3) some kind of photo button which brings up the message "Only JPEG Image Available" which doesn't help at all!

Any help appreciated,
Cheers!

After some playing about, it seems as though the phone will only display pictures stored on the handset, rather than on the memory card,

If anyone knows a fix for this it would be appreciated! But I can live with it for now  Smiley

Yeah it took me a while to figure this out, especially since the manual tricks you into storing stuff on the memory card >.<
I don't think it can be changed, well maybe if LG put out an updated firmware sometime.

how useful are the widgets?
I only used them for the first few days then got rid and use the full menu to access every thing.
can you add widgets from outside the phone?

There are no widgets available from LG or anyone else,,, they have seriously missed a trick on the aftersales marketing for this phone. You could have had an sdk to develop them... tut tut lg, seriously missed a trick,,, the same for themes too.
