Crazy isn't it? Such a simple requirement with no obvious solution (this seems to be a common problem with the KC910 and, I suspect, LG's in general).

I've even tried hooking up the phone to my laptop to see if it's possible to access the file system on it directly to see if theres a file that contains the dictionary that might be hand edited. No luck (you can't browse the full FS like you can with a Sony Ericsson as far as I can tell).

I have to be honest, whilst I do like my Renoir it has many "undocumented features" that make it really annoying to use. My wife opted for a SE-C905 and, to be honest, I'm beginning to wish I had too! I suspect this'll be my first and last LG unless they push out a firmware update soon to fix there silly but annoying issues.

Interesting indeed, I looked everywhere on the phone and found nothing either, I've just inserted a new gibberish word into my dictionary (klamdot) and have attempted removing it but haven't found a solution for this yet, I've only added more stuff due to things I've tried like saving:
t9edit
?edit
_klamdot
0klamdot
?klamdot
-klamdot
and of course tried re entering klamdot

and some others I don't remember, I've tried holding save, dragging the word away from it's position, holding the t9 button, rapidly pressing t9, all sorts of things, this is a fine challenge.

Does the discolouration only appear when viewing a photo you've taken, in that the problem would be linked to the camera itself and not the screen? I assume you've tried cleaning the camera lens
My software is KC910_V10a
Could try a reset, I doubt it would work in this case but you never know with tech, if you do try it, do it without the SIM and SDcard in it.

Does he know what network it was on? does that company have their mark on the battery cover of the phone?
You might be able to download the same software/update from lgmobile.com, using their confusing internet software thing, I couldn't get it to work.

This is the first phone I've put opera mini on so I can't say I'm disappointed, I like the way when you press on the screen, it zooms into that area, I still use the standard browser most of the time because of it's pinpoint-download ability, you can download a file by putting in the link, like .swf files that are embedded into sites which don't let you download them, which is harder to do on a PC unless you have a standalone pinpoint-type download application.

Yeah that's what it's always been on, it just doesn't bring anything up on the PC screen when I choose one when asked on the phone, I've checked the PC autoplay settings, tried experimenting with setting a specific mode on the phone for when I connect but nothing, I just go to my computer>double click USB port to bring up it up.

Ok, so like what do you do if you accidentally enter something into the T9 custom dictionary and then want to remove it? I can't find any option on my Renoir to do this. Is there really no way to edit the dictionary? Did I miss something? I've seen a lot of posts on various forums asking this yet no answers. Anyone?

Hey guys!

I bought this phone online a week ago from o2 and had it exchanged today because I thought there was a problem with the camera image. Now I have the same problem again.

Basicly in many indoor incandescent shots there is a strong bluish/green discolouration in the middle of the screen before and after taking a picture (auto settings without flash). It also occurs in alot of indoor incandescent lighting type shots with other white balance settings.

Before I got the replacement, a person from another site told me that he had not experienced anything like it. It convinced me to have it exchanged but the one now is the same, do any of you guys have this problem or experienced anything like it? could it actually be a driver problem? (can't find any updates). The images just don't look right...I need some advice before making a decision about keeping or replacing the phone again. Thanks guys. S/w version KC910_V10b!

John

Best to leave it on "ask each time". That way it's ready to do whatever you need, whether it's sync music, drag and drop files or use the PC Suite.
