Is there anyway to extend the ringtone for the alarm clock, so it plays a full song rather than 30 seconds or so??

I bought my renoir from the 3 shop, as I said in my last post, they replaced it with a new phone because after two weeks in their repair centre they scrapped it. At the beginning I did have a problem with the new phone not recognising the usim but touch wood all seems fine now,

Most people's renoirs work fine, I'd like to believe you have faulty or fraudulent Renoirs.
What version of firmware does the phone say in Settings>Phone Settings>Information>Handset Information.
I have V10a.

Most version should work fine but depending on where you got yours from, it might be a rare bugged version, or someone may have installed a different software, realized the camera makes it freeze, and sold it on to you, or someone may have taken theirs back to the shop and you got a 2nd hand one, outrageous and disgusting but it can happen.

Are yours Renoir KC910i's q's or e's?
a silver ring & cover for the camera lens?
And does it say Schneider Kreuznach and Auto/Manual Focus on the ring?
Some have been found with just Schneider and Auto/MINual Focus, fraud ones from Korea.

Bought from proper phone shops or online?

If the phone is genuine and it's just the camera that doesn't work it may be quickly fixable using a program and an original camera software piece from someone else's Renoir.

As for your 'new' one Tillybaby, installing a completely different firmware may fix the USIM thing, if it's not faulty connectors/hardware, but I have never done this, there is information on how to do it on the site above.

hi, does anyone know how i can change the world clock widget setting?? my renoir set seoul as its home time so where i actually live - vancouver, the time is different on the widget than the actual time. so on the widget, vancouver time is seoul time vice versa...
help pllllzz!

I have had the LG Renoir since Christmas and had no problems with it until tonight after I got back from the match I noticed for no reason my wallpaper had gone back to the original one and there seemed to be no response from the memory card I dont know if its broke or something but I'm gutted because i had a cracking video of Steven Pienaars free kick on haha.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

HI, I had to take mine into the shop eventually, they sent it away (Two weeks) eventually they gave me a brand new phone because they couldn't fix it, had this one 2/3 weeks and now this one isn't recognising the usim. so inconvenient because every hour I'm having to take the damn thing out, re-insert it just so I can receive my texts, I'm beginning to think the Renoir is rubbish.

I have the very same problem,the screen freezes when I switch on the camera and I have to remove the battery to turn the phone off.I have the phone 8 months and this has only happened in the past month.
PS does anyone from LG actually look at these posts???
