My Laptop came before the Phone & doesn't have Bluetooth.

So for the last 9 months, if I need to move any data to & from Laptop & Phone, I have to use a SD card Adaptor and plug into the Laptop.  I've got a feeling this isn't good for the phone.

Have dug out the USB cable that connects the Phone to me Laptop and this charges the battery, but the laptop can't see the phone.

Is there software I need to download for the Laptop to see the phone via USB, or something I need to press on the Phone's menus?

You didn't get a CD with the phone? you might need the driver off of it

Either way I think that when you connect phone and laptop, a prompt should appear on the phone's screen with 4 options, choosing 'Mass Storage' will allow you to put files on and take files off like any usb/flash drive, without needing to install driver from CD.

Thanks for the response.

But not good news, I've just tried again with the USB cable, when I connect the phone beeps and then the battery logo shows it is charging.  I get nothing else after that, even waited a few minutes and still nothing.

Do I need to install any drivers on the Laptop?
