Title: Problems with USB cable uploading files off Renoir Post by: welshy on January 24, 2009, 11:28:28 AM I installed the PC Suite CD on my computer and it all seemed fine, then I plugged it in expecting it to be straightforward (I had the LG Prada before and had no problems), yet it keeps saying "Failed to connect the mobile phone to the PC"... i don't really know what the problem is? Can anyone help?
Title: Re: Problems with USB cable uploading files off Renoir Post by: Gearu on January 24, 2009, 02:25:34 PM Did you install the USB driver first? You need to install the USB driver on the CD before connecting the the cable and/or phone to the pc or things go bad.
After you install the driver and get to the connect part, when you do connect it, it will do a bunch of extra install things from the phone, note that with some computers it might take 10-15 seconds for this 2nd install part to initiate, doing something in this period can scramble things too. |
